As a child, I grew up going to church and helping with dinners for the homeless and taking mission trips. Those memories stuck with me for all this time. Now being a local, small business owner, it was important for me to give back to my community and have my kids involved in an organization that made a positive impact. The Byron Saunders Foundation was just that! I’ve meet so many wonderful people thru BSF and am so happy to be part of a foundation that helps feed families during a time that get’s highly overlooked during the holiday season, Thanksgiving.

Being a part of the Byron Saunders Foundation has given me the opportunity to put empathy to work within my community; reaching those who need it most. As a Cleveland native and OSU graduate, I’m proud to say that I’ve considered Delaware, Ohio to be my home away from home for the last eight years.

Being fortunate enough to work with multiple small businesses here, I have been able to support them in achieving their goals. This experience, along with being a Delaware business owner myself, has allowed me to build relationships within a network of like-minded individuals who care deeply about this community.

As a board member of the Delaware County Chapter, I plan to build a passionate network of individuals who are dedicated to our mission; supporting Delaware County families during Thanksgiving.

I’m passionate about helping to strengthen families by showing the love and light of Christ. The Byron Saunders Foundation (BSF) shares the love and light of Christ through special Thanksgiving meals. BSF offers great opportunities for families, friends, and individuals to come together to serve and improve the community and our world. The fruits of these efforts make Thanksgiving significant, and the effects are felt long after the important holiday!

The mission of The Byron Saunders Foundation speaks to me because Thanksgiving has always been the biggest holiday celebration for my family.  The food, memories, and traditions that we share have made it a special day that we all look forward to each year.  I am so grateful to be a part of an organization that is focused on feeding our community members and bringing families together to celebrate an occasion that means so much to me.    
 
This organization provides many opportunities for people to get involved at the local level.  It’s fun to participate and I’m impressed with all the caring and hard-working people that spend countless hours with the simple goal of helping others.
 
I have lived in Lewis Center for over 20 years with my husband and two children.  It is a wonderful place to live, and I look forward to increasing awareness and support for the Delaware County chapter of The Byron Saunders Foundation.

I am the Senior Regional Director at CaaStle, Inc. CaaStle, Inc. provides technology, reverse logistics, and managed services to help retailers participate in the new rental subscription economy. I have worked with Byron Saunders Foundation in Franklin County for the last five years through food drives with CaaStle.  I have lived in Delaware County for 15 years, and I am thrilled to be able to give back to our community, where my husband and I are raising our four children.

I am the owner of a small business in Lewis Center, LEVEL Medical Billing. I have worked with Byron Saunders Foundation over the last eight years through food drives and packaging meals for the distribution of deserving families. My husband and I live in Powell, where we are raising our three children. Byron Saunders Foundation is an amazing non-profit organization that can involve volunteers of all ages and has such a great cause behind it. I am grateful to be part of the Delaware County Chapter, where I can give back to my community!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it’s the one day out of the year my extended family gathers together at a meal to give thanks to God for all our blessings and for our great nation! As a child I fondly remember Thanksgiving celebrations with more than 50 family members present. Those celebrations were chaotic but also very special. The Byron Saunders Foundation is all about sharing the blessings of this special holiday with those in need so that they too can share a Thanksgiving meal together in their own home and create memories that will last a lifetime. I have had the privilege of volunteering for the Byron Saunders Foundation in Franklin County since 2016. I am thrilled to take a more active role with the Delaware County Chapter, helping to expand the positive impact of the foundation. My husband and I live in Dublin, where we have raised our three children.
