Jessica Rivera
As a child, I grew up going to church and helping with dinners for the homeless and taking mission trips. Those memories stuck with me for all this time. Now being a local, small business owner, it was important for me to give back to my community and have my kids involved in an organization that made a positive impact. The Byron Saunders Foundation was just that! I’ve meet so many wonderful people thru BSF and am so happy to be part of a foundation that helps feed families during a time that get’s highly overlooked during the holiday season, Thanksgiving.
Angie Althoff
Marketing Chair
Angie has over 21 years of experience in marketing and communications and is a proposal writer with Corna Kokosing Construction Company in Westerville, Ohio. Thanksgiving is a day to be grateful for what you have and giving back to others. The Byron Saunders Foundation allows me to make happy memories for families who would otherwise have to do without on the holiday. My role in the organization is not just for one day; it allows me to volunteer, prepare, and plan all year long.

My husband, Roger and I have been married for over 27 years and own a couple of businesses here in Delaware,Ohio. I have been the family office manager and bookkeeper for over 27 years, educated our children at home through high school and happy to see they’ve become successful adults. We also started a ministry in Pakistan with a church and Montessori Schools educating and empowering Christians in very depressed communities in the region. Roger and I have always had a true passion for helping others and serving in our community and abroad. We serve on the Finance Team at our church and are so honored to serve as Treasurer for the Delaware Chapter. We love supporting the Byron Saunders Foundation because Thanksgiving has been a very tender time for our family. We have experienced times of plenty and times filled with tragedy, and know that sometimes that small gesture of kindness leaves a huge footprint on a fragile heart. Whether someone has lost a job or a loved one, or hit a rough spot in life, bringing loving people together from all over the county to show love to their neighbor is a valuable resource to have wherever you live. As a volunteer it has brought us great joy to see a little donation or a little time be magnified to help so many!! We are very optimistic that the Byron Saunders Delaware Chapter will grow and bless many more families in the future.

Fundraising Chair
I’m passionate about helping to strengthen families by showing the love and light of Christ. The Byron Saunders Foundation (BSF) shares the love and light of Christ through special Thanksgiving meals. BSF offers great opportunities for families, friends, and individuals to come together to serve and improve the community and our world. The fruits of these efforts make Thanksgiving significant, and the effects are felt long after the important holiday!
