The Operations Manager is a critical role in the organization and as such, we plan to fill this position as soon as possible. You will be responsible for the overall operation of the distribution center (currently located on the east side of Columbus, OH) primarily during the months of October/November. You will work directly with the Food Drive Coordinator and the Volunteer Coordinator to create and execute a successful annual project. Key stakeholders include area agencies, donors and volunteers, as well as the BSF Board of Directors, who are committed to support the organization’s mission of delivering meal boxes to the community in the weeks prior to Thanksgiving. Your estimated time commitment in October is 8-10 hours per week and in November it is 20-40 hours per week. Additional hours for training may also be required.
