“For I was hungry, and you gave Me food…whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did it for me.”

Heidi Ball
President
Choosing to give my time to this wonderful organization was a natural fit for me. I have been blessed in my life and want to share that blessing with families in need. It saddens me that there are so many families within my own community who are struggling to get food on the table, especially at Thanksgiving time. I feel like it is my duty to serve them as I am able. Plus, I want to teach my children about serving others through actions, instead of just words. I look forward to seeing our chapter grow this year and in the future.

Treasurer
I’m excited to be starting the Union County branch of the Byron Saunders Foundation.
I’m a retired Air Force officer and am currently working for Big Brown, otherwise known as UPS. I got started volunteering at an early age, helping my mom deliver food to families with Meals on Wheels. Currently I’m Chairman and also volunteer with the Union County Personal Needs Pantry where we provide household goods/items to families in need. I look forward to volunteering for this wonderful organization.

Karen quickly develop a passion for charitable work and the resolve stuck with her through her years. Karen is currently working as a Business Development Manager with BMI Federal Credit Union and volunteers with the City of Dublin Police Department as a Community Service Officer. Karen and her family are happy spending their days keeping Ohio an amazing place to live, work and play.

“I have lived in Central Ohio most of my life. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Ohio University and worked as a social worker for two years before transitioning my career to Human Resources. I have volunteered for other organizations over the years and, even though I am no longer a social worker, I have never lost the desire to help others. This is something that I also want to instill in my three children. I learned about the Byron Saunders Foundation while living in Marysville. I felt an immediate connection and wanted to be a part of its work! The Thanksgiving holiday is such a huge part of our culture. Everyone deserves a Thanksgiving meal to celebrate and to create happy holiday memories with their family.”
Dana Norrod
Co-Marketing Chair
I live in Dublin with my husband and two kids Corbin (8) and Lily (4). I work as a non-profit Operations Manager at NC4K and with that it has provided opportunities to meet new people and opened my eyes to greater needs in our community. I have always had a desire to serve others and that passion has only been amplified through personal life experiences. I am blessed to serve and inspired by the generosity of others in the community. The Byron Saunders Foundation is something I’ve become passionate about by seeing the reality that when each of us contribute just a little of our time and talents amazing and transformational things can happen for those in our community.
