Our Chapter Presidents

These amazing individuals and their support staff make it possible for families in their respective counties to receive a much needed Thanksgiving dinner.

Ginny Williams

Knox County Chapter President

In 2003, I was asked to find families that were having struggles in life and to uplift them with a laundry basket of food and a gift card for a Turkey for Thanksgiving Day. Twenty meals found a table for families in Knox County that year and the need hasn’t stopped.  God says “the poor will always be with us” and I just want to help them and be a witness for Him. The blessings outweigh the work.

Jessica Rivera

Delaware County Chapter President

As a child, I grew up going to church and helping with dinners for the homeless and taking mission trips. Those memories have stuck with me for all this time. Now being a local small business owner, it was important for me to give back to my community and have my kids involved in an organization that made a positive impact. The Byron Saunders Foundation was just that! I’ve met so many wonderful people through BSF and am so happy to be part of a foundation that helps feed families during a time that gets highly overlooked during the holiday season (Thanksgiving.)

Rebecca Bickel / Jon Bickel

Fairfield County Chapter President / Treasurer

We believe that every family deserves the opportunity to sit down and enjoy a holiday meal together without worrying about how they are going to afford it or what it is going to look like. It is important to keep traditions, to make traditions, and to have the ability to keep holidays special even during those times when you need a little help in doing so.

We believe in doing our part to support and strengthen our community and the Byron Saunders Foundation is a great way to do that. We are honored to be a part of this wonderful organization. We are raising a family here in Pickerington and feel that aiding families right here in our own community is a wonderful way to give back and say ‘thank you’ to that very same community for giving us such a wonderful place to raise our family.

Heidi Ball

Union County Chapter President

Choosing to give my time to this wonderful organization was a natural fit for me. I have been blessed in my life and want to share that blessing with families in need. It saddens me that there are so many families within my own community who are struggling to get food on the table, especially at Thanksgiving time. I feel like it is my duty to serve them as I am able. Plus I want to teach my children about serving others through actions instead of just words. I look forward to seeing our chapter grow this year and in the future.

Donna Perkins

Licking County Chapter President

Donna Perkins and her husband, Terry, are life long residents of Licking County.  They have both served on numerous community boards and have participated in the local school systems.

Donna has a degree in childhood education and a business background in real estate, construction and insurance.  She is passionate about children and understands the importance nutrition plays in the development of a child.  As soon as she heard that the Byron Saunders Foundation wanted to expand into Licking County, she was all in.  She currently serves as the Vice President of our Board and is dedicated to helping families right here in her county seat.  In her professional life, Donna serves others and one of her core activities is focused on feeding local children.

“My parents were always helping others while we were growing up, and always stressing the importance of volunteering to help your neighbors and your community,” said Donna.  “It’s just in our DNA.  Life is about making your community a better place, and it begins with one child, one person, one family.”

Amy Francis

Pickaway County Chapter President

I have always been taught that we were created to serve one another in love and that kindness is contagious. More than a decade ago, I began helping the Byron Saunders with what I could with food donations and helping with Collection sites. I am more than honored to be able to spread this giving and for our chapter to serve the residents in Pickaway County.

Matthew 25:40 “And the King will answer and say to them, `Assuredly, I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did unto me,”
